Wild Pokemon Behavior
CobbleWinds tunes wild Pokemon aggression so exploring is relaxed — and the places that are supposed to be dangerous still are.
The overworld: peaceful
Wild Pokemon in the overworld (and the Resource World) do not attack you:
- They never start a fight.
- They don't retaliate — hit one and it runs instead of hitting back.
- A failed catch doesn't provoke them either.
- They don't scatter when you walk up — they only flee if actually attacked.
You can still battle anything the normal way: send out your Pokemon or throw a ball. Aggressive species are still catchable mid-aggro if something does turn hostile.
The exceptions — where it's still dangerous
| Where / what | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Alpha Pokemon | Always aggressive, everywhere. That's the point of them. |
| Raid dens | Den Pokemon fight. (/sethome is disabled inside dens.) |
| Safari Zone | Has its own aggression rules — Safari |
| The Nether & The End | Peaceful too, actually — soak in the vibes |
| Special event spawns | Event bosses do what event bosses do |
Tip
Alphas in the Safari have a 25% chance to drop a Mega Stone — the fight is worth it. See Safari.
