Mysterious Eggs

This feature is built and tested and lands in an upcoming server update. Numbers on this page are the launch values — final tuning may adjust them slightly.
While exploring the wild, you can stumble on a Mysterious Egg — a rare find that hatches into a Pokemon whose species, rarity, and IVs are decided by how you treat it.
Finding an egg
- Eggs are found while moving around the wild — you can't AFK your way into one.
- Your first egg is guaranteed within your first few hours of playtime.
- After that, finds are rare — think one every few weeks of regular play.
- You can hold at most 3 active eggs at a time.
Ripening
An egg only develops while you carry it in your inventory and are online. Stashing it in a chest pauses it completely.
After roughly 8 hours of carried time the egg is ready — you can right-click to hatch it whenever you choose. But here's the twist:
Hold it longer, hatch something better
Every extra hour you carry a ready egg improves what's inside. Held time unlocks milestones, and each milestone opens a better reward pool:

- The egg's appearance and inspect text show your current milestone — you always know what tier you're sitting on.
- IV quality also climbs the longer you hold, up to a cap.
- No legendaries or mythicals — ever. Eggs can't break the server's legendary rules.
- Starters only hatch at Milestone 2 or later.
If your inventory is full
Hatching or receiving an egg with a full inventory never destroys anything — the item is held for you and delivered when you next join, or grab it yourself:

Where else do eggs come from?
The Nursery at spawn sells eggs for CobbleDollars — those eggs ripen under exactly the same rules as wild-found ones.
